The medium is turbulent at high speed inside the half tube, and its heat transfer performance is better than that of ordinary integral jacket towers.
Inside the tower, reactions, crystallization, mixing, extraction, and neutralization can be carried out, while the outer coil is responsible for ensuring temperature conditions.
2. Strengthening the cylinder structure to enhance its pressure bearing capacity
The spiral half tube is equivalent to a circle of reinforcing ribs/rings, which improves the resistance of the cylinder to external pressure and instability; It can reduce the thickness of the steel plate of the tower body, lower the weight and material cost of the equipment, and the pressure of the medium on the coil side is much higher than that of the ordinary jacket. High pressure steam can be used.
3. Ensure clean process conditions inside the tower
All coils are externally mounted, and there are no heat exchange fittings inside the tower
No heat exchange components occupy the effective volume of the tower;
No material adhesion to the coil or dead corners of scaling, supporting CIP online cleaning, meeting the cleanliness requirements of food and pharmaceutical GMP;
Large scale mixing, packing, and internal components can be arranged inside the tower, suitable for handling high viscosity materials.
4. Process safety to avoid cross contamination of materials
Complete isolation of heat exchange medium and tower materials:
Even if there is a leakage in the coil, the heat exchange medium will not mix into the product;
The leakage point is located on the outer wall of the equipment and is easily visible to the naked eye, so there is no need to enter the tower for maintenance;
Especially suitable for the production of valuable materials, toxic materials, and sterile materials.
5. Insulation and heat storage to reduce temperature fluctuations
The external insulation layer of the coil reduces heat loss, maintains stable temperature inside the tower, and reduces energy consumption.
2、 The process function of the tower body (tower equipment itself)
The outer coil only solves heat exchange, while the stainless steel tower body completes chemical unit operations:
Reaction tower: stirring reactions such as polymerization, neutralization, hydrolysis, and addition;
Crystallization tower: cooling crystallization, relying on external coils to achieve slow cooling and precipitation of crystals;
Extraction tower: two-phase mixed extraction, temperature control to ensure distribution coefficient;
Mixing/Dissolving Tower: Material dissolution and blending;
Absorption and Analysis Tower: Gas liquid contact, external coil removal absorbs and releases heat.
